Alternative splicing occurs at this locus and two transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified.

Immunohistochemistry analysis of paraffin embedded Human thyroid cancer tissue using 217999(VAPA Antibody) at a dilution of 1/35(Cytoplasm).

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human thyroid cancer tissue is first treated with the fusion protein and then with 217999(Anti-VAPA Antibody) at dilution 1/35.
